New Year’s Resolutions

It’s come to that time of the year again! We begin to take a step back and decide what we want to change in the New Year that’s approaching. It’s like the universe telling us to hit the reset button and make some changes. Some of us are reading this thinking another new year to set new years resolutions that seem to break by the second week of January. Dash Apartments makes keeping some common resolutions a little easier.
1. Don’t set too many resolutions
Start the New Year off focusing on just one or two goals, it’s hard enough to stick to one so why overwhelm yourself with four or five!
2. Take one bite at a time
Do something today, something small tomorrow and then continue over the days. Don’t try tackle the problem all at once; good things take time! Emotionally, take one bite at time everyday, but literally come take a bite at Ray’s Kitchen on-site!
3. Get fit
The number one goal most of us have is to get fit, and improve our wellbeing! Sound familiar? We often think how are we supposed to do that when we constantly taking business trips, working or looking after the family? Get fitter in our 25m training pool, have a light workout at our gym and end off in the sauna, play a friendly game of tennis or talk a stroll through the Dunkirk Estate Forest.
4. Do more of what makes you happy
To us, there’s nothing better than the ocean, family and friends! Head to our private beach club and absorb the sheer bliss of sand in between your toes, the salty air, sea breeze, and a cold cocktail! Not such a bad New Years resolution? Or invite some friends over and enjoy a traditional South African braai at our built-in-braai area.
